Aaf Brandt Corstius (1975) is a Dutch columnist, translator, writer, publicist and editor. Corstius worked as an editor for several publishers and translated three books from English, wrote two restaurant guides and is active for the magazines Elegance, Elle, Cosmopolitan and Glamour. In November 2006 she wrote her debut "The year that was I was thirty." Since 2007 she has been a regular guest in the television program De Wereld Draait Door. In February 2010 she announced to leave the newspaper nrc.next and start as columnist at the newspaper De Volkskrant.
Machteld van Gelder (1965) is a Dutch photographer, television producer and director. After her studies she started making television programs as editor at AT5 television and later as director of children's programs at the VPRO. In 2000 she started her own company Stormy Minutes. She produced television shows and also made portraits of writer F. Springer, Hella Haasse and Willem Frederik Hermans.
