Author: K. Schippers, pseudonym of Gerard Stigter (1936), is a Dutch poet and prose writer. He co-founded the magazine 'Barbarber'. In 1975 he became editor of the magazine 'Hollands Diep'. K. Skippers introduced the readymade as a poetry form. Besides his literary work he is also editor and art critic. K. Schippers received numerous awards, including the poetry award from the city council of Amsterdam for 'Een klok en profil' (1965), the Multatuli award in 1983 for his novel 'Beweegreden' (1982) and the 'P.C. Hooftprijs' 1996. In 2006 he received the Libris Prize for his novel 'Waar was je nou'.
