Author: Arnon Grunberg (1971) is a Dutch writer. At the age of 23 Grunberg made his debut with 'Blauwe Maandagen'. The book became an international success and won the 'Anton Wachter Prize' for best debut and 'Het Gouden Ezelsoor' for the best-selling debut. In 1998 The Foundation CPNB invited Grunberg for writing 'Het Boekenweekgeschenk'. Since March 2010 he writes a daily column on the front page of the national newspaper 'De Volkskrant'. He currently lives and works primarily in New York.

 

Illustrator: Nanne Meulendijks is an independent artist and quickly reached the top in Holland as an illustrator. Her work appears in nationwide newspapers such as NRC Handelsblad, NRC Next, AD, Trouw and Volkskrant. She is working as well for the publishing firm Lannoo (Children's books).
