Author: Bert Wagendorp (1956) studied in Groningen. After starting as a copywriter, he became sports reporter with the Leeuwarder Courant. In 1988 he moved to the Volkskrant, for wich paper he regularly covered the Tour of France. He also worked in London. He wrote a novel and a collection of stories. Furthermore Wagendorp is co-founder of the literary bicycle magazine 'De Muur' (The Wall).
