Author: Ramsey Nasr (1974) is a Dutch poet, writer, essayist, actor, director and librettist. He was the second poet of Antwerp and since the end of January 2009, for a period of four years he is poet of the fatherland of the Netherlands. In 2006, Nasr received the price 'Journalist for Peace' from the Humanist Peace Council.
Illustrator: Solko Schalm (1972), after completing the Erasmianum school in Rotterdam at the age of 17, left to Paris to learn painting there. He studied four years in Paris at the Academie Julian. After an exchange with the Rietveld Academy in Amsterdam in 1994 he studied at the Royal Academy in The Hague. Instead of seeing classic figurative tradition as an obstacle, Solko experiences it as an enrichment.
